JOB SUMMARY: Provide ongoing supervision to all Nutritionists, WIC medical assistants and WIC clerk. Provides nutrition information and education materials designed to improve health status, achieve position change in dietary habits and emphasize relationships between nutrition and health, all in keeping with the individual's personal, cultural, and socioeconomic preferences. The nutritionist performs nutrition assessments of WIC participants, prenatal patients, and any CCAP patient referred by CCAP providers. WORK SCHEDULE DEMANDS: This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week and must be available to work evenings on Wednesdays. Nutritionist must stay to ensure proper reporting and customer service. Must be willing to drive between Cranston and Coventry locations when necessary.
