About The Position

The Wholesale Account Manager is primarily focused on supporting all of the multibrand customers in an assigned area of the county. They are responsible for virtually developing an assigned group of customers to achieve a designated sales budget through maximizing the potential of all existing and potential customers while maintaining the brand standards and a high level of customer service virtually. The Wholesale Account Manager will be responsible for growing the multi brand doors through virtual, written and verbal communication around training plans, introduction of new product launches, order writing, visual standards and marketing plans. The Wholesale Account Manager must have a thorough understanding of operational performance to ensure that the multi brand locations within their territory are consistent with and in compliance with all retail guidelines and appropriate product levels. This position will work closely with the Divisional Sales Director and Divisional Sales Managers, Merchandising, Sales Training and Marketing teams. The Wholesale Account Manager must be a self-starter with an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remoted, dynamic environment, driving multiple initiatives, with minimal oversight while hitting tight deadlines. Role requires 8 or more years of experience in wholesale expansion, business development and account management. The priority is wholesale and new account acquisition. The impact of the role within the organization is revenue generation and brand elevation through strategic partnerships. This role requires development of new approaches or solutions to a great extent. Role needs to continually develop new ways of working and think outside the box to drive incremental revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8-10 yrs professional experience in wholesale or retail sales organizations
  • Experience working in a global matrix organisation and capacity to contribute in globally networked projects
  • Experience with issue management, preferably from a consumer-oriented business
  • Fluent in English. Strong writing skills
