About The Position

Technically innovate: Drive strategic technical or tactical decisions at a project and platform level by contributing to high-level innovation feasibility studies; Regularly solves sophisticated problems before they become problems. Key challenges include vapor/plasma etching, selective wet etching, surface prep, and high aspect processing. Influence: Regularly drives product planning/roadmap, platform features, and functional area strategy. Successfully convinces management to initiate new projects. Skill and experience: Regularly interact with senior management to provide consultation and influence technical and strategic decisions; Crafts alliances with customers. Lead: Proven track record to lead multi-functional teams, Technology focus teams, etc.; demonstrates independence and initiative in proactively developing and applying new skills in the most critical current or future domains Mentor: Lead others within their technical subject area to achieve high levels of technical leadership; shares knowledge with others, proven through mentoring, coaching, presenting, etc.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or an equivalent field is required.
  • Research completed during pursuit of a PhD and 2 years of relevant industry experience, OR a Master's degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of relevant industry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in DRAM or Memory is preferred.
  • Experience working as a process development engineer in a R&D environment preferred.
  • Experience with coding, automation and/or data science is preferred.
