About The Position

In this role, you will take global ownership of a portfolio of medical device products, shaping their long-term strategy from early concept through launch, growth, and eventual phase-out. You will operate at the intersection of upstream marketing, innovation, and cross-functional execution, ensuring products deliver meaningful patient impact while driving sustainable business growth. Acting as the global subject matter expert, you will represent your products across strategic, regulatory, and commercial initiatives. The position offers broad exposure to international stakeholders and complex, regulated environments. You will balance strategic planning with hands-on leadership to translate market insights into actionable product decisions. This is a highly collaborative, global role with direct influence on portfolio direction and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • 8–10 or more years of experience in global product management, upstream marketing, or commercial roles, ideally within MedTech or a regulated industry
  • Proven track record managing products across the full life cycle in an international environment
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with experience building and executing business cases
  • Solid project leadership skills and the ability to coordinate across diverse, global stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with full professional proficiency in English
  • Ability to work effectively within the Eastern Standard Time zone to support global collaboration

  • Experience with product launches, campaigns, communications planning, and digital or social marketing is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

  • Define, support, and execute global product portfolio strategies to strengthen competitive positioning and unlock growth opportunities
  • Own the full product life cycle, from market and customer needs assessment through development, launch, optimization, and phase-out
  • Partner with regional teams and cross-functional stakeholders to translate insights into product upgrades, line extensions, and life cycle management initiatives
  • Build and present robust business cases for product investments, overseeing execution, follow-up, and performance tracking
  • Act as the global product owner and key stakeholder in initiatives impacting customer experience, regulatory compliance, and commercial performance
  • Ensure alignment across marketing, supply chain, labeling, registration, clinical evidence, legal, and safety requirements
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry dynamics to inform strategic decisions and portfolio direction
