About The Position

The Enablers Performance Management (PM) organisation is a partner to the P&O Enablers to deliver trusted, and actionable insights. The Wells Performance Senior Manager leads a small squad, the Wells Performance Management team, and is accountable to deliver performance management services for the Wells organization. These services include strategy development, setting annual priorities, metrics and associated targets, consolidation and reporting on budget and forecasts production wedges and operational MI, development of performance actionable insights and coordination of Wells LT performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Hands on experience in drilling, completions and / or interventions within P&O Wells organisation
  • Shown leader with the ability to handle conflicting priorities within tight time frames.
  • Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement, standardisation and optimisation of processes.
  • Validated relationship management skills and ability to work across all levels of the organisation.
  • Consistent track record of strong delivery.
  • Demonstrates understanding of the planning & performance management and or cost management / budgeting processes.
  • Good business judgment in handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in finance processes especially in the areas of budgeting & forecasting, cost monitoring & analysis, and annual planning.
  • Proven track record of positive engagement and positive influence skills
  • Expertise as a consumer of PowerBi and Power Apps applications
  • Strong degree of commercial insight
  • Demonstrated understanding of key business drivers (financial and operational) and how they relate to profitability.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering or related disciplines or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the 'single point of contact' to the Wells SVP and their LT for performance management.
  • Responsible for comprehensive Wells performance deliverables.
  • Support development and maintain respective Wells strategy, associated priorities, annual plans and performance management (incl. Performance reviews), including KPIs, benchmarking & targets.
  • Lead the development of actionable performance insight on the identified business problem, maximising central enablers' expertise.
  • Collaborate with Regional Performance teams as well as Wells Planners to ensure Rig Scheduling of activity is consistent and aligned with Wells strategic priorities.
  • Work closely with Production Performance teams to understand details of Production wedges, opportunities and challenges and how the Wells Enabler may impact Production outcomes.
  • Deliver and report Wells Enabler budget and forecasting activities for costs and capex for QPF and annual plans.
  • Recommend standard performance and reporting products / processes to be deployed above-region and in-region to deliver performance services more efficiently and more consistently.
