Wellness Coordinator - Aquatic Lead
About The Position
Develops and coordinates fitness programs and Wellness-related educational programming at Landis Homes for individuals living in Residential Living, Personal Care and Healthcare. Additionally serves persons listed as eligible users per the Eligibility and Use Policy. Serves as a member of the Wellness team with a primary focus on aquatic programming. Responsible for the maintenance of the Aquatic Center including balancing pool chemistry and maintenance of pool mechanicals. Works collaboratively with the Landis Homes Facilities department and contracted aquatic vendors. Additionally facilitates land-based classes, personal training and other programs as a complement to the Wellness Coordinator- Land Lead role.
Requirements
- Experience in aquatic programming and pool maintenance required.
- Has and maintains current CPR certification.
- Has, or willing to obtain, Shallow Water Lifeguard certification.
- Has, or willing to obtain, Certified Pool Operator certification.
- Has, or willing to obtain, and maintains Commercial Pesticide License.
- Proficient in use of computer and related technology required for the role.
- Good verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills required.
- Demonstrates leadership, management skills, dependability and a positive demeanor.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in kinesiology, physiology or related field preferred.
- Geriatric fitness/exercise certification preferred.
