Requirements
- Ages 18 or older.
- CPR certification – Paid CPR training offered!
Nice To Haves
- Experience in aquatic or gym setting preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Instructing and Leading: Offering a unique opportunity in our area to instruct both gym and pool classes!
- Demonstrating exercises at different fitness levels, all with on-the-job training available!
- Safety Monitoring: Ensure the safety of members during classes and open swimming sessions. While remaining prepared to respond to emergencies.
- Member Service: Address questions, provide information about program offerings, and build rapport with members. Answer and return phone calls and assist with scheduling members.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep locker rooms, pool deck, and gym areas clean and organized. Vacuum pools, clean equipment, set-up and remove exercise equipment for use in the pool.
- Team Roles: Support your team with tasks and cover shifts as needed. Uphold shift responsibilities. Remain reliable, ready, and punctual. Perform all duties assigned by the Director of Clinical Services, Wellness and Aquatics Coordinator, or Exercise Team Leader to ensure the department operates as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
