About The Position

" Opportunity Snapshot: Compensation: $120.00/hour Location: Midland, TX Assignment Duration: 12 months+ Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+ Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), PTO and holidays Responsibilities Design, plan, and provide engineering execution support to wellwork operations post-completion, inclusive of remedial workovers and plug and abandonment scope Liaise with Production Engineering to provide cost & scope for opportunity evaluation Develop procedures and provide design input to artificial lift systems Interface with Operations for rig scheduling, execution support, and troubleshooting Liaise with specialist contractors & suppliers for cost and equipment readiness Monitor daily progress of wellwork operations, track daily costs, and recommend cost-effective changes where necessary; travel to company designated sites when necessary Support wellwork spend forecasting and budget preparation Track, analyze, and continually improve wellwork execution efficiency; manage contractor performance; steward Wellview data quality Qualifications Bachelor of Science from accredited university in engineering required Minimum of 5 years O&G experience; 3+ yrs direct wellwork experience (Permian preferred) Must be self-motivated and capable of integrating within multi-discipline teams Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Must be willing to travel to well locations to oversee operations when necessary Proficient in MS Office suite (excel, word, powerpoint) and Wellview; Spotfire, PowerBI, or other analytics exposure preferred The Bergaila Way: The Bergaila Companies is a nationally recognized leader in providing staffing services to all sectors of the energy industry. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science from accredited university in engineering required
  • Minimum of 5 years O&G experience; 3+ yrs direct wellwork experience (Permian preferred)
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of integrating within multi-discipline teams
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
