About The Position

Lead aquatic classes, ensuring safety and enjoyment for participants. Design, plan, and implement fitness and well-being programs tailored to the needs and preferences of senior residents. Conduct exercise classes, including but not limited to strength training, balance exercises, aerobics, yoga, and other forms of physical activity suitable for seniors.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, or a related field, or credit hours toward a degree preferred. Relevant certifications or specialized training in senior fitness is highly desirable.
  • Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid certification. Or willing to get certified.
  • Proven experience in leading exercise classes, particularly in a senior living community or related setting.
