What You’ll Do Join and Fabricate: Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes. Prepare and Set Up: Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools Lift and Position Materials: Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed. Ensure Quality: Utilize measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications. Contribute to Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities. Maintain and Organize: Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
