About The Position
Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire a Welcome Center Guard for a food distribution warehouse located in Irving! The facility is temperature controlled due to the product in warehouse. Qualifications for Welcome Center Guards: After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications: Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must be ablet o communicate with truck drivers and assist with paperwork. Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance. Strong attention to details. Effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment. Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check. Assignment Duties for Welcome Center Guards : Manages al truck traffic in and out through the shipping and receiving center. Initial inbound trailer inspections and outbound tailer inspections. Documents rejected trailer/containers and expectations as needed. Seal checks. Operate the yard truck to complete routine yard checks for trailers and fuel level. Prints and documents BOLs. Inspects all outbound empty trailers to ensure empty. Inspects all plant shuttles/tailers in and out to ensure seals applied. Confirms shipment destination with driver for all outbound shipments. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
