Queens Borough President Donovan Richards seeks an Immigrant Welcome Center Coordinator to be part of his dynamic team. The Immigrant Center Coordinator will report to the Director of Immigrant Affairs and work in conjunction with various policy area experts from within the office. We are seeking a candidate willing to be part of a collaborative, energetic and innovative team. The prospective staff member must be committed to seeking out new and better ways for the office to connect with, and deliver for, Queens’s diverse neighborhoods, communities and constituents – particularly its immigrant communities. The Immigrant Center Coordinator will represent the Borough President’s office and oversee key initiative areas. May be required to work nights and weekends. Under administrative direction, with latitude for the exercise of independent initiative and judgment, assists and represents the Borough President in managing the activities of the Immigrant Welcome Center. Participates in initiative formulation and implementation.
