About The Position
This position serves as the front line for Community Center rentals, supporting events, assisting guests, and ensuring smooth operations during evenings and weekends. The role involves creating a welcoming and well-managed environment from guest check-in to event clean-up.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 months of related experience or customer-facing work
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle large groups
- Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing schedules
- Microsoft Office and basic POS systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, public-facing environment
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Valid Indiana Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Greet guests, provide directions, and support rentals and programs
- Serve as point of contact for clients, vendors, and event participants
- Operate POS system and assist with administrative and clerical tasks
- Monitor events, handle issues professionally, and ensure safety and compliance
- Support event setup, cleanup, and facility readiness (including restrooms and common areas)
