About The Position

Wedding & Events Coordinator Position Overview The Wedding & Events Coordinator manages events from first inquiry through execution. This full-time, year-round role supports winter group ski/tubing sales as well as summer weddings and concerts. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, calm under pressure, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

Strong customer service and communication skills
Highly organized with excellent time management
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Calm, solution-oriented under pressure
Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills
Minimum: High School diploma or GED
Ability to stand for extended periods
Lift 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
Available weekends, holidays, and variable hours
Comfortable working in various weather conditions
Must have solid 4WD or AWD transportation

Nice To Haves

Prior event experience preferred
TIPS Alcohol Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact from inquiry through post-event follow-up
Coordinate weddings, group events, and special occasions
Conduct client meetings, tastings, rehearsals, and final detail reviews
Prepare contracts, process payments, and maintain event timelines and floor plans
Communicate and confirm details with vendors
Serve as on-site vendor contact
Ensure all event logistics and accommodations are prepared in advance
Oversee setup, execution, and teardown
Confirm staffing levels and lead event teams
Coordinate Food & Beverage needs
Resolve issues quickly to ensure smooth, high-quality events
Maintain organized event files and documentation
Support venue projects and space improvements as needed
