The Marketing Operations - Website Migration Specialist is a temporary, contract-based role supporting our marketing operations team during a critical website migration initiative. The position focuses on QA, SEO optimization, audit work, website content management, and documentation across our portfolio of community websites. The ideal candidate brings technical proficiency in web standards, SEO best practices, and quality assurance processes, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative, with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy and process management. In addition, this position needs to be accountable and attentive to provide excellent customer service skills when interactive with residents, associates and vendors. Position Summary: Assist with website migration QA, including testing functionality, content accuracy, links, redirects, metadata, alt text, and overall site performance Perform comprehensive website audits across the portfolio to identify technical SEO issues, content gaps, and opportunities for optimization Conduct SEO audit work including keyword research, on-page optimization recommendations, metadata and header tag reviews, and content compliance assessments Assist in implementing SEO improvements such as optimizing title tags, meta descriptions, alt text, headings, and content structure Support management and updates of website content, including floor plans, community information, specials, and media assets Perform quality assurance testing across digital platforms to ensure consistency, functionality, and brand compliance Assist with GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM) setup and configuration for new migrated sites, including custom event tracking and data layer implementation Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of standard operating procedures, QA checklists, and migration processes for team reference and future repeatability Assist Marketing Operations team with Zendesk ticket resolution related to website updates, QA issues, and SEO concerns Collaborate with other functions of marketing and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth migration execution Support other marketing operations initiatives and priorities as assigned Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and approximately one industry conference per year to build knowledge and stay current on marketing trends QualificationsQualifications: 1–2+ years of experience in marketing operations, website QA, SEO, web management, or related digital marketing field Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals including keyword research, metadata optimization, on-page factors, and technical SEO Proficiency in website testing and QA processes; ability to identify and document technical issues, broken links, and functionality problems Basic HTML knowledge and familiarity with web standards, accessibility (WCAG), and Fair Housing compliance Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) or similar web analytics tools Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality assurance Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to document findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams as well as manage up to supervisors and internal stakeholders Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Willingness and ability to learn new software and tools quickly Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong motivation and accountability Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and custom event tracking setup, preferred Familiarity with website migration processes, redirects, and SEO implications, preferred Experience with SEO tools such as Conductor, preferred Follow Weidner's Mission, Vision and Values and comply with all Weidner policies and procedures as well as all Fair Housing, local, state/province, and federal laws Ability to work 5 days a week in the Kirkland Home Office (or hybrid arrangement to be determined) Ability to work outside of normal scheduled hours during migration cutover windows as needed Must agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing US driver's license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance must be valid and unexpired at all times
