About The Position

The Webmaster is responsible for the ongoing management, maintenance, and enhancement of organizational websites and digital platforms. This role ensures web content accuracy, technical functionality, visual consistency, and alignment with organizational communication strategies. The Webmaster supports site updates, implements design improvements, and applies web technologies to maintain secure, accessible, and high-performing online environments. Requirements

  • Three (3) or more years of professional experience managing or supporting websites.
  • Experience using web-based technologies including XML and HTML.
  • Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or comparable applications.
  • Experience updating and maintaining web content using content management systems or related tools.
  • Understanding of website usability, accessibility, and performance best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple web updates and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Information Technology, Web Development, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field required.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze requirements for website updates, enhancements, and improvements.
  • Maintain and update website content using graphics software applications, web editing tools, and content management systems.
  • Apply knowledge of XML, HTML, and related web-based technologies to support site functionality and structure.
  • Utilize design applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools to create and modify visual content.
  • Ensure websites align with branding standards and support organizational communication strategies.
  • Monitor website performance, usability, and accessibility compliance.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely posting of content and updates.
  • Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate technical resolutions as needed.
  • Maintain documentation related to website architecture, updates, and procedures.
  • Recommend enhancements to improve the look, functionality, and performance of online offerings.
  • Support digital modernization efforts and website upgrades.
