Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, PA, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. As an innovative company offering a wide array of products, we strive to continuously develop new technology and drive process improvement. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Webmaster to oversee, manage, and optimize our company website and digital presence. This role will be responsible for managing Magento-based platforms, coordinating internal and external development resources, and supporting digital marketing and sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have both technical and managerial skills and the ability to actively contribute to development work when needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and maintaining Magento-based websites.
  • Working knowledge of web programming languages and technologies (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, etc.).
  • Understanding of web application and software development concepts.
  • Ability to “speak the language” of developers and effectively manage technical teams.
  • Experience managing vendors, agencies, or external development partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with website analytics and performance tools.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate cross-functionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP or e-commerce system integrations.
  • Familiarity with email marketing and promotional platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
  • Prior experience in an e-commerce or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic coding or development capability to assist with active projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and optimize company websites, primarily using Magento.
  • Oversee day-to-day website operations, performance, and security.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external web development resources.
  • Provide technical oversight and quality assurance on development projects.
  • Assist with application and software development tasks when needed.
  • Support and manage website promotions, digital campaigns, and email marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support online sales efforts.
  • Monitor site analytics, performance metrics, and user experience.
  • Troubleshoot website issues and implement solutions efficiently.
  • Ensure websites follow best practices for SEO, usability, and compliance.
  • Maintain documentation and workflows for web-related processes.
