Role Mission: As a Web Developer at Rhodes, you will serve as the technical engine behind our digital presence owning, building, and optimizing all website assets across the Esperanza Homes and Rhodes brands. Built on the Framer platform, our websites are mission-critical to lead generation, brand experience, and customer engagement. This role goes beyond development: you will architect seamless data flows between our web properties and key business systems, ensuring that every form submission, lead event, and user interaction is captured, routed, and actioned with precision. You will sit within the Digital Experience function alongside CRM operations, giving you direct visibility into the full customer journey from first click to close.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 2–4+ years of professional web development experience, with demonstrated ownership of production websites
  • Hands-on experience with Framer (or comparable no-code/low-code platforms such as Webflow) strongly preferred
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CRM integrations, preferably with HubSpot
  • Experience with API integrations, webhook configuration, and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Make, Zapier, or custom API work)
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, GA4, and event-based analytics tracking
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; ability to write and debug custom code components within Framer
  • Strong command of HubSpot CRM, including forms, workflows, contact properties, and pipeline configuration
  • Working knowledge of SEO technical fundamentals: metadata, schema markup, sitemaps, canonical tags, and Core Web Vitals optimization
  • Emerging fluency in AEO/GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) principles and structured content strategies for AI answer surfaces
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and webhook-based data flows
  • Experience with version control (Git) and documentation practices
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to QA data integrity across systems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer workstation for the majority of the workday
  • Strong capacity for sustained concentration, logical problem-solving, and attention to technical detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal form
  • Occasional attendance at in-person team meetings, project reviews, or on-site brand activations

Responsibilities

  • Framer Website Development & Management
  • Own the design-to-production workflow for all Rhodes brand websites built in Framer, including Esperanza Homes, Rhodes Living communities and any future properties
  • Develop and maintain new pages, landing pages, microsites, and interactive components within Framer
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and mobile-first performance across all devices
  • Manage DNS, domain configuration, and hosting integrations connected to Framer-hosted properties
  • Partner with the Digital Experience Manager and brand team to translate design concepts and brand standards into pixel-accurate, performant web experiences
  • Maintain a version-controlled, documented codebase and component library for all custom Framer overrides and code components
  • Data Automation & Systems Integration
  • Design and maintain all data pipelines between website forms, events, and downstream systems, including HubSpot CRM, marketing analytics platforms, and operational tools
  • Build and manage webhook configurations, API integrations, and middleware connections (e.g., Zapier, Make, or custom solutions) to automate lead routing and data synchronization
  • Implement and maintain event tracking via Google Tag Manager, including custom event triggers, form tracking, and conversion events tied to CRM and ad platforms
  • Audit and QA all data flows on a recurring basis to ensure lead source attribution, contact creation, and pipeline entry are accurate in HubSpot
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Operations and Analytics functions to build attribution infrastructure that connects web touchpoints to sales outcomes
  • Document all integration logic, field mapping, and automation workflows for operational continuity
  • SEO & AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
  • Implement on-page and technical SEO best practices across all web properties, including metadata, canonical tags, structured data (schema.org), XML sitemaps, and robots.txt
  • Monitor and respond to Core Web Vitals and site health signals via Google Search Console and third-party SEO tooling
  • Support the evolution of AEO strategy by ensuring web content is structured and marked up in ways that maximize visibility in AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude, etc.)
  • Partner with content and brand teams to apply SEO/AEO guidance at the content architecture level heading structure, internal linking, entity optimization, and FAQ schema
  • Track organic performance trends and provide data-backed recommendations to the Digital Experience Manager
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as the technical liaison between Digital Experience, Marketing Operations, and Analytics & Advertising teams
  • Support campaign execution by building and deploying landing pages, lead capture forms, and UTM-tracked assets on defined timelines
  • Collaborate with the CRM function to ensure web-to-CRM data flows align with HubSpot pipeline architecture and lifecycle stages
  • Participate in sprint planning and project intake processes, providing realistic scope and timeline estimates for web development request
