Check us out at www.bytheyard.net By the Yard is hiring a Web and eCommerce Developer to design, program, and troubleshoot the organization’s ecommerce website and related applications. This is a full-time, in-person position reporting to our Jordan, Minnesota location.

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate technical concepts in an understandable and concise way.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with front end web design technologies (WordPress, HTML, JavaScript, React.js, CSS,XML).
Experience with back-end ecommerce technologies (Magento, AWS, RDS).
Experience with SEO and SEM concepts and technologies (GTM, Google Analytics, PPC, social media advertising).
Ability to work on-call and after hours occasionally, as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Five to seven years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy ecommerce web pages using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and other technologies.
Develops and expands company's ecommerce sales channel through website development, email campaigns, web advertising, and other online sources.
Develops and implements new ecommerce functionality; coordinates site and application functionality with organization's content management system.
Collaborates with internal and external resources to identify and develop new functionality.
Maintains knowledge of emerging technology and best practices in website and application design and development.
Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves site and application issues; recommends and implements preventative measures to avoid future problems.
Provides on-call support to support service level agreements,
Performs other related duties as assigned.
