About The Position

The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) of the Supreme Court of Nevada is seeking a creative, strategic, and technically skilled Web Architect and Engagement Specialist to shape how the public, partners, and stakeholders understand and engage with the Nevada Judiciary. This role blends digital communications, web strategy, and public outreach, supporting the Judiciary’s mission of transparency, accessibility, and public trust. The ideal candidate is both a strong storyteller and an organized project leader who thrives in a collaborative, high performance environment. This position can be located in Carson City or Las Vegas. After an initial training period, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid remote/in-office schedule. Occasional travel and in-person attendance at meetings and public events is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, digital media, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in digital content creation, multimedia production.
  • Experience with web content management systems (CMS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong visual communication skills and experience producing digital or print assets.
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage respectfully with diverse communities.
  • If this position is approved for remote or hybrid work, the incumbent must be able to work effectively and collaborate with employees from a remote location, as needed. The individual must have expertise in virtual meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams and be able to perform all duties through a reliable internet connection provided by the employee. The network connection must be sufficient to support all job functions, with a minimum download speed of 50–100 Mbps required. Higher speeds may be necessary if the connection is shared with other members of the household.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve web content and digital information in coordination with court professionals, executive leadership, and partners.
  • Design and manage content architecture that improves accessibility, usability, and public understanding of court services.
  • Coordinate production of high-quality multimedia content, including presentations, infographics, flyers, animations, and videos.
  • Lead the refinement and implementation of the Judicial Branch’s Outreach and Engagement Plan aligned with the Nevada Judiciary 2026–2028 Strategic Plan.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support public education initiatives that strengthen trust, transparency, and understanding of the courts.
  • Draft and edit materials including reports, news releases, media advisories, educational resources, and web publications.
  • Translate complex legal or institutional information into clear, engaging, and accessible content for diverse audiences.
  • Manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
  • Track progress, timelines, and outcomes to support accountability and continuous improvement.
