Location: Chicago / New York What this job involves This role provides dual leadership across WD Americas operations and Global Project & Development Services, primarily supporting the Americas WD business unit while leading global PDS segment reporting and strategic initiatives. Trusted Advisor and Business Partnering Develop a solid understanding of both WD AMER and Global PDS business models and work closely with Americas Head(s) of Finance and Global PDS Business Leaders to drive growth and cost agenda across both segments. Tie regional and global business unit strategies to financial insights and deliver timely and high-quality reporting to support decision-making for both WD AMER Business Leadership and Global PDS Leadership. Support Head(s) of Finance to present globally consistent financials to support matrixed reviews with Americas Business Unit Leadership and Global PDS Country Leadership. Matrix Organization Excellence Drive cross-functional influence across complex dual-reporting relationships with Board members and multiple stakeholders Navigate matrixed environment effectively, balancing competing priorities between Americas regional operations and Global PDS leadership Build collaborative partnerships across different cultures, geographies, and business segments without direct reporting relationships Financial Performance Management Work closely with Finance stakeholders to integrate Americas WD processes with Global Project & Development Services Finance and performance management frameworks. This involves managing the cadence of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reporting for both WD AMER and Global PDS operations, as well as developing financial performance dashboards for Executives and Business Leaders containing business metrics, financial targets and KPIs consistent across Americas regions and global PDS markets. You will also be performing key financial variance analysis for both segments and participate in projects to automate the reports into business intelligence tools to facilitate self-help reports for the key stakeholders. Financial Reporting and Analysis Work with Global FP&A to manage dual reporting cadences that align monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both WD AMER and Global PDS operations and provide business insights to management reports across both segments. Overall, you will proactively seek to resolve daily financial and operational issues for both business areas as well as perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Planning Work alongside Americas Country/Region CFOs, Regional FP&A and Global PDS business partners to drive the 3-year Plan, Annual Plan and Forecast processes for both WD AMER and Global PDS segments. Ensure consistency while meeting different Americas country, regional and global PDS requirements. You will manage ad-hoc FP&A requests and queries from both WD AMER and Global PDS leadership teams. You will participate in and support the implementation of any new financial/planning systems that are being rolled out across both business segments. Technology and operational efficiencies Support Finance leadership to deliver operational efficiencies including hubbing, offshoring to ensure optimized cost structure particularly for finance and operational processes across both WD AMER and Global PDS operations. You will participate actively in FP&A global projects with focus on both Americas regional initiatives and global PDS optimization AI & Technology Leadership Lead AI and automation projects to improve FP&A reporting and productivity across both business segments Implement technology solutions including Tableau, BPM tools, and AI applications to streamline financial processes Identify and execute AI use cases for financial analysis, leveraging emerging tools to create scalable solutions Incentive Planning Working with Rewards and HR, oversee much of the distribution modeling/guidance as well as present funding to leadership. Work with Controllership to align both WD AMER regional records and Global PDS incentives to the P&L and Balance Sheet across both business. Investment Insights and cost management Support both WD AMER and Global PDS businesses in insights required for effective investment decisions. Collaborate with the business for proper cost management in line with business strategy across Americas property management operations and global project development services Data Management Enhance operational controls for both segments, including Data Governance Framework as well as amplify governance over labor allocations across WD AMER and Global PDS operations, including migrating to Budget Owner structure for both business areas.

Requirements

Minimum 10+ years of relevant Finance experience with multi-segment or dual business responsibility
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields; MBA preferred
Preferably extensive FP&A experience across both regional and global operations
Possess strong knowledge of Reporting and Planning processes and best practices for both WD and PDS
System implementation and project management experience across multiple business segments
Experience managing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for both regional operations and global business units, including oversight of complex accounting processes and control measures
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple business segments whilst maintaining focus on critical priorities across both WD AMER and Global PDS.
Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines across dual responsibilities
Strong experience in leading finance in both Americas Regional and Global matrixed environments and ability to influence positive outcomes across both segments
Comprehends and analyzes various scenarios across different business models and implements the best option for both WD AMER and Global PDS operations
Ability to innovate and 'think outside the box' to existing problems across both business segments to deliver sustainable and enduring solutions that will have significant impact on both Americas regional operations and global project development services.

Responsibilities
