This Opportunity: Join our Water Resources team to support a variety of civil and environmental engineering projects. In this role, you will: Support the Water Resources team across various aspects of project execution Assist in the analysis and design of storm sewer collection systems. Perform hydraulic modeling and stormwater BMP modeling. Contribute to stormwater compliance initiatives, including the development of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs). Develop technical documentation such as design reports, engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a focus on hydrology and water resources
  • Ability to traverse uneven terrain and lift up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous coursework or experience in fluid mechanics, open channel hydraulics, and/or stormwater management.
  • Previous internship experience
  • Familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or OpenRoads software.
  • Understanding of NPDES regulations related to municipal, industrial, and construction stormwater.
  • Experience interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Prior involvement in construction observation or fieldwork.
  • Comfortable presenting technical information in public or team settings.
