About The Position

We are currently seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator to join our high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your work supports both production and environmental responsibility. Perform daily wastewater treatment and system maintenance tasks under supervision. Assist with wastewater area improvements and environmental initiatives. Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with regulations. Load and ship waste materials safely. Process incoming bulk tankers for dry materials and prepare samples for quality testing. Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed. Communicate promptly any issues that could affect quality, safety, or compliance. Adhere to all policies, procedures and instructions as defined in our Quality Management System (QMS), Employee Handbook, Health and Safety manual, or any other instruction issued by the company. Perform other duties as assigned Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, required
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Must be able to wear PPE and pass a respirator fit test.
  • Ability to obtain a Class K Wastewater Operator License within 12 months.
  • Must be able to accommodate the designated shift hours: 1st shift (days), 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm approx.), or 3rd shift (10:00 pm – 6:30 am approx.)
  • Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Wastewater operator or certification experience preferred.
  • HAZWOPER 40-hour training preferred.
  • Forklift experience/certification is a plus.
