About The Position

We are currently seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator to join our high-performing team. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, required
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Must be able to wear PPE and pass a respirator fit test.
  • Ability to obtain a Class K Wastewater Operator License within 12 months.
  • Must be able to accommodate the designated shift hours: 1st shift (days), 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm approx.), or 3rd shift (10:00 pm – 6:30 am approx.)
  • Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Wastewater operator or certification experience preferred.
  • HAZWOPER 40-hour training preferred.
  • Forklift experience/certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily wastewater treatment and system maintenance tasks under supervision.
  • Assist with wastewater area improvements and environmental initiatives.
  • Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with regulations.
  • Load and ship waste materials safely.
  • Process incoming bulk tankers for dry materials and prepare samples for quality testing.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed.
  • Communicate promptly any issues that could affect quality, safety, or compliance.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures and instructions as defined in our Quality Management System (QMS), Employee Handbook, Health and Safety manual, or any other instruction issued by the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements at all times.
