About The Position

Overview Monitor the water treatment facility's performance to ensure the effective treatment and pumping of the water supply and adjust as necessary to maintain the facility’s regulatory complianceAlways maintain the highest of ethical and SAFETY standards. Responsibilities Monitor the water treatment facility's performance to ensure effective treatment and pumping of the water supply. Adjust the treatment process or pumping, as required, in compliance with all rules, regulations and the facility's standard operating procedures. Maintain accurate and comprehensive operation and maintenance records. Collect samples and perform routine physical and chemical analyses on water. Perform minor maintenance tasks and assist the maintenance staff, as necessary, with major or unusual maintenance tasks. ORC (Operator in Responsible Charge) certification obtained. Work with Lab Chemist to assist and provide technical knowledge through observing chemical, physical and biological properties. Work independently at client facilities. Consult with Shamrock management regarding new projects and bids for new projects, as requested. Always maintain the highest of ethical and SAFETY standards.

Requirements

  • Wastewater background preferred
  • Possess strong math and computer skills
  • Overnight travel is required at varying degrees and times based on customer opportunities
  • Understand how to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures
  • Clear, valid driver's license
