About The Position
The City of Webster's Public Works Department is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Operator . The ideal candidate for this position will ensure the efficient operation of the City's wastewater system. This is accomplished by monitoring, operating, and maintaining the wastewater treatment plant, lift stations, and collection system, interfacing other City employees, vendors, and citizens. This position does not provide directions to other employees.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Class "C" Wastewater Operator License from TCEQ
- Valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License
- This is an essential services position. Employees in essential services positions will be required to provide services in the course and scope of their employment for the benefit of the general public during emergency situations that threaten the safety of Webster's citizens per the City's Emergency Services Guidelines.
- Conditional offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory results of pre-employment drug testing , a physical examination, and a background check.
