About The Position

ProSidian Seeks a Waste Treatment Plant (WTP) Safety Professional - GSSC (Full-Time) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford. Preferred candidates present with relevant Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure (Nuclear and Environmental) Sector experience (functional area experience also ideal) - SCA Code: N/A. This position is located in the CONUS - Northwest Region. Waste Treatment Plant (WTP) Safety Professional - GSSC Candidates shall work to support requirements for PR0117A RFQ FY22-SB10 Nuclear Safety Support Swim Lanes and statement of work (SOW) while maintaining required qualifications with relevant Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure (Nuclear and Environmental) Sector experience (functional area experience also ideal). ProSidian Team Members (# FTe’s: 1) work as part of the Engagement Team Cadre to provide Nuclear Safety and Health/Safety as part of general support services on behalf of The US Department of Energy (DOE), Richland Operations Office (RL) and Office of River Protection (ORP) Hanford Site Safety and Health Division (SHD), Assistant Manager Safety and Quality (AMSQ,) Quality Assurance Division (QAD) and Nuclear Safety Division (NCD). Provide expert safety professional services for the Waste Treatment Plant (WTP) to perform reviews of Industrial and Construction Safety Programs. Assess the WTP contractors’ compliance with applicable laws, regulations, or directives as codified in Code of Federal Regulations CFR 835, 10 CFR 851, 10 CFR 850. #NuclearSafety #HealthSafety

Requirements

  • The Waste Treatment Plant (WTP) Safety Professional - GSSC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.
  • Education – BS/BA degree in engineering, science, or business management.
  • Experience – Nine (9) years of directly applicable experience in providing technical or business support to management on projects.
  • Senior Certification as Safety Professional
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate familiarity or relevant experience or ability to perform under Hanford or other government agency procedures.
  • Identification of any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site contractors.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID, a granted exception to vaccination for COVID, or able to meet entry and testing requirements for entrance and work in federal buildings.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
  • All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” (also referred to as an “Employment Authorization”) by the USG’s designated Security Office.
  • May be required to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement
  • Must be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance.
