About The Position

You will reconcile hand tool warranty returns from our distributor network. This involves identifying tools by item number and matching the items to the packing list created by the distributor. The successful candidate will be able to identify and sort failed tools for common failures for quality purposes. What You Will Do Open parcel packages and transfer items to sorting bins Identify tool by item number from marking on tool or from paper/online catalog Issue or deny credit to distributor by appropriately coding warranty claim in computer system For items denied credit, pack and ship item back to distributor Sort like items for return to supply base Move items to quarantine area and help load onto truck for transport to scrap facility WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications) High school diploma or equivalent required Basic computer skills – Windows based operating systems and general typing Must be able to lift 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodations) Must remain flexible regarding shift hours and responsibilities Ability to identify trends and patterns in tool failures Vontier partners with you and your family on your health and wellness journey.
