About The Position

Warranty Manager – Renewable Energy Projects Are you a detail-oriented leader with a strong problem-solving mindset? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are critical to success? We are seeking an experienced Warranty Manager to join our Gridworks team. This role provides oversight of company-wide warranty processes, including claim evaluation, remedial work coordination, subcontractor management, and quality control. The Warranty Manager plays a key role in ensuring warranty work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual and quality standards across renewable energy projects. About the Company Established in 2014, Gridworks is a leading EPC contractor for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. Primarily operating across the Southwest and expanding into other regions, Gridworks has delivered nearly 3 GW of solar and battery energy storage projects. We are well positioned for continued growth in the rapidly expanding clean energy sector.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and construction-related software platforms.
  • Experience reviewing and evaluating contracts, with the ability to identify scope, compliance requirements, and potential risks.
  • Knowledge of quality control practices, safety standards, and construction operations.
  • Strong organizational, monitoring, and performance assessment skills.
  • Ability to manage materials, equipment, and resources efficiently.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to manage expectations and resolve issues professionally.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to perform under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of management experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of warranty management experience within construction or renewable energy environments preferred.
  • Contract evaluation experience specific to the construction industry preferred.
  • Engineering, construction technology, or technical background related to construction means and methods preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide warranty processes, procedures, and workflows.
  • Evaluate and validate warranty claims; determine scope, responsibility, and appropriate resolution paths.
  • Coordinate remedial work by scheduling tasks, sequencing activities, and budgeting time and resources to ensure efficient execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across operations, construction, procurement, and accounting to resolve warranty issues.
  • Manage subcontractors and internal resources performing warranty-related work, including materials and equipment usage.
  • Perform contract reviews with a focus on warranty terms, compliance requirements, and risk exposure.
  • Prepare budget estimates and track costs associated with warranty and remedial work.
  • Implement and enforce corporate quality control standards on all warranty-related activities.
  • Monitor warranty performance data, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction.
  • Ensure warranty work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with specifications and customer expectations.
