About The Position

Primary contact to customers for resolving, processing and communications related to third party warranty claims. Liaison to Oracle developers for configuration of Oracle service module to correspond to the Panasonic repair life cycle. Serve as single point of contact for training, troubleshooting and resolving Oracle and Inventory module issues for Global Repair.

Requirements

  • Associates degree (business or technical field preferred).
  • 2-4 years of experience in warranty administration.
  • Experience with Oracle or other inventory control systems highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated strength in Oracle configuration and administration.
  • Demonstrated capability to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers and a diverse range of organizations.
  • Knowledgeable about databases and data management processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of applications i.e. Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word and have the skill set to create and deliver Power Point presentations to Repair and Panasonic upper management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with staff at all levels.
  • Knowledgeable of aircraft maintenance/repair industry and IFE equipment preferred.
  • Ability to independently perform in a schedule-driven environment.
  • Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • Requires judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
  • Normally receives little instruction on daily work, but general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time to interface with Panasonic worldwide organization (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with airline customers on all matters pertaining to warranty.
  • Manage Oracle tables related to repair service life cycle, warranty terms, and fleet data.
  • Process third party warranty claims.
  • Analyze warranty cost data and develop cost reduction programs.
  • Provide single point of contact for all global repair shops on Oracle service module or inventory module issues.
