About The Position

A Penske Warranty Claims Writer prepares documents to be sent to vehicle or
component manufacturers for warranty reimbursement that will offset the running
cost of the Penske fleet. This entails assessing repair documents to determine
warrantable failures, researching and / or requesting any additional information
required, and using manufacturer specified labor operation codes, part numbers
and processes to prepare the documents.

Responsibilities

• Review repair documents for multiple accounts on a continual basis.
• Process any warrantable documents for warranty submission to the appropriate manufacturers
• Interact with manufacturers and Penske associates to ensure that claims are processed completely and correctly in a timely fashion
• Engage in analysis when requested
• Provide awareness to any failure trends found through daily processing
• Change between accounts/manufacturers as directed
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
