Requirements

  • Previous dealership or warranty administration experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of automotive warranty processes and manufacturer guidelines
  • Basic accounting or accounts receivable knowledge
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ethical business practices and professionalism
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer proficiency including e-mail, web-based applications, Windows, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn dealership management systems

Responsibilities

  • Process and submit manufacturer warranty claims accurately and in a timely manner
  • Review repair orders for completeness, accuracy, and warranty eligibility
  • Communicate with service advisors, technicians, and managers regarding warranty documentation
  • Follow up on unpaid or rejected warranty claims and reconcile discrepancies
  • Maintain warranty schedules and adhere to manufacturer policies and deadlines
  • Monitor warranty receivables and ensure proper posting and payment
  • Assist with warranty audits and maintain required records
  • Perform miscellaneous office duties as needed
