Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of related warranty, administrative, or service operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn and use warranty systems and manufacturer processes
  • Effective communication and customer‑service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments

Responsibilities

  • Review Warranty Jobs: Evaluate completed warranty jobs, write claims, and update the internal tracking system.
  • Process Claims: Handle claims, settlements, and follow‑up documentation accurately and on time.
  • Manage SIMS Data: Enter Service Information Management System (SIMS) reports into company systems.
  • Administer Parts Returns: Prepare and distribute parts return requests to the correct departments and locations.
  • Verify Registrations: Review all warranty registrations for accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze Warranty Data: Compile analysis reports to monitor warranty spending and identify trends.
  • Prepare Monthly Reports: Create monthly warranty and service operation reports for Business Units.
  • Maintain Records: Organize and maintain service letters and warranty documentation.
  • Serve as a Resource: Provide accurate warranty information and assist Parts, Service, Accounting, and Sales teams.
