Requirements

  • 3-to 4 years of related experience are necessary. Vehicle warranty experience, fleet maintenance experience, and vehicle parts experience are required.
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written.
  • Strong computer skills including MS office products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the warranty process in accordance with company policy and within the parameters established by the manufacturers. Claims need to be filed in a timely manner.
  • Performs periodic audits of maintenance systems to ensure claims are getting flagged for potential warranty. Reports discrepancies to the warranty director to modify the warranty agreements.
  • Identifies product deficiencies and failure trends and communicates this information to the Technical Department. Tracks TSR reports as they relate to warranty.
  • Maintains database of all warranty claims and their current status. Proper follow-up with manufacturers on aged claims.
  • Works in partnership with the technical team to ensure the timely processing of recalls and campaigns.
  • Work closely with maintenance staff (RMMs, Service Managers & TICs) to follow up on warranty questions and gather additional information required to process claims promptly.
