About The Position

- The Warranty Admin at Cleveland Freightliner is responsible for overseeing and managing warranty claims and processes to ensure efficient and accurate handling. This role involves coordinating with various departments, maintaining records, and providing exceptional customer service to uphold the company's reputation and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warranty administration role, preferably within the automotive or truck industry.
  • Proven track record of handling warranty claims and processing warranty paperwork efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of warranty processes and procedures within the automotive or truck industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing warranty claims and documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with customers, service technicians, and manufacturers.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports related to warranty claims and trends.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate degree or higher in business administration, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with dealership management systems and warranty software is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process warranty claims submitted by customers and service departments.
  • Ensure all warranty claims comply with manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of all warranty transactions and communications.
  • Coordinate with service technicians to verify warranty claim details and resolve discrepancies.
  • Communicate with manufacturers and suppliers to facilitate claim approvals and reimbursements.
  • Provide support and guidance to customers regarding warranty coverage and procedures.
  • Monitor warranty claim trends and report findings to management for process improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline warranty processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and changes in warranty policies and regulations.
