Warehouse Worker
About The Position
This position is responsible for the shipping, receiving, and storing of incoming material for the warehouse. Basic Computer Skills Required We are Family-Oriented and believe in Teamwork. The candidate for this Position must be a Team Player and work well with others. Performance Standards: Providing exceptional customer service to all customers, suppliers, and employees. Constantly representing of the company in a positive and professional manner regardless of customer requests, complaints, or demeanor. Complying with policies and procedures. Interacting with other employees, suppliers, and customers in a courteous and professional manner. Communicating work progress and significant issues to the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Must be able to read and understand work instructions for the position held.
Nice To Haves
- 0 to 3 years warehouse experience is a plus.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to handle products and warehouse materials.
- Arrange and organize products and material in a warehouse.
- Prepare and verify shipment papers.
- Organize transportation of materials in warehouse.
- Inspect and verify products, materials, and equipment before storing in warehouse.
- Execute loading and unloading operations.
- Store unused raw materials in proper area when processes are complete.
- Ensure compliance of safety procedures and practices in warehouse operations.
- Responsible for completing any assignments given by Supervisor, even those assignments not specifically listed in this job description.
