About The Position

Operation of a variety of machines ranging from a six-ton or ten-ton overhead crane to a finning machine. Responsibilities range from loading/unloading materials onto/off of machines and semi-trailers; bending or finning tubing; and ensuring quality of tubes being shipped out. Requirements

• Requires full range of body motion to include: constant lifting, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting, climbing, and reaching outward and overhead.
• Requires climbing on stacks of tubing to heights of six feet in order to locate bales of tubing to secure crane slings in order to move bales of tubing with overhead crane.
• The ability to maintain one's balance while performing the required work tasks is essential.
• Requires frequent unassisted lifting of a variety of objects from various positions, which range in weight from 5 to 50 pounds with an average weight of 34-37 pounds.
• Requires operating banding equipment to bundle tubes.
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• Utilizes a variety of hand positions to work equipment controls and maneuver tubes throughout manufacturing process.
• The ability to deal with stress is essential.
