About The Position

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead to support the Pack/Mezzanine Department at our Mt. Juliet, TN operation. As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of personnel in the Inventory Business Unit. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.

Requirements

High School diploma/GED preferred.
General math skills required.
Satisfactory understanding of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
Must be able to work safely and within company safety guidelines.
Entry level understanding of basic computer keyboarding required in order to operate in our paperless Legacy Connect environment.
Ability to properly use material handling equipment including Powered Industrial Trucks.
Must be able to operate an electronic scanner.
Satisfactory understanding of all safety requirements, standard operating procedures, and quality guidelines.

Efficiency with WMS, SAP and related software preferred

Responsibilities

Oversees the daily operations of the Pack Line and Mezzanine
Resolve order issues for packers, pickers, and water spider
Ensure mez boxes are processed and delivered to the dock in a timely manner
Monitor workflow and team members to eliminate gap time
Coordinate order deliveries with pickers to maintain an efficient flow
Work closely with planners to ensure a steady workflow
Monitor HotQ and daily service reports to ensure orders are processed on time
Assist supervisor with daily planning of team member assignments
Ensures all areas are properly stocked with supplies
Assist pickers/packers with general questions
Process order transfers (OT) as needed
Communicate department issues to supervisor
Meet established procedures and productivity, safety, and quality standards
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and reach trucks as required in a manner supporting all safety rules and procedures.
Complete Monthly OSHA training
Ensure area Housekeeping requirements are met
Abides by all OSHA rules and Legacy Supply Chain Services safety practices
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervision
