About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of work, maximize productivity of the warehouse, maintain, and oversee inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. This position will be responsible for developing, coaching, and supervising staff.

Requirements

3- 5 years’ experience supervising all aspects of Warehouse Operations in HVAC or related industry
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Proven success in supervising and mentoring team members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to develop and implement best practices, procedures, and process improvement initiatives.
Strong computer and analytical skills including MS Office
Physical Strength: Walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, crawling, stooping, reaching (including overhead), climbing ladders/stairs and lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis.
Environment: Work in varying temperatures including non-climate-controlled areas occasionally with extreme temperatures
Must be available to work a flexible shift, including early mornings and some weekends

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage all warehouse, inventory, and metal recycling operations.
Oversee the receipt and dispersal of materials and equipment entering or leaving warehouse.
Supervise Warehouse team (including recycling dept.) by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
Ensure proper safety training of team members handling Company inventory to minimize damages and losses.
Manage department and customer requests promptly and resolve issues quickly.
Maintain stock control systems and make sure inventories are accurate.
Assist with consignment inventory counts.
Oversee all procurement operations, pricing with vendors to ensure cost containment and savings.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and contract companies as needed.
Oversee and identify root cause of any inventory discrepancies and shortages.
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
