About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations in an electronics manufacturing environment. This role ensures the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of electronic components, finished products, and materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to support smooth supply chain operations and maintain material availability for manufacturing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse supervision experience, preferably in an electronics manufacturing or high-tech production environment.
  • Experience handling sensitive electronic components and ESD-safe materials.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems, ERP platforms (such as SAP or Oracle), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and mentor warehouse staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification and ESD handling certification.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory principles.
  • Experience working with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or IPC standards in electronics manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, and distributing electronic components and finished goods.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of sensitive electronic components, preventing damage and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) risks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and implement processes to reduce inventory discrepancies.
  • Enforce quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to maintain an efficient supply chain flow.
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse space utilization to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, ISO standards, and applicable industry regulations.
  • Train and supervise warehouse staff on proper handling of fragile and high-value electronic components.
  • Oversee the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems for inventory tracking and order processing.
  • Coordinate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and minimize production delays.
  • Manage warehouse equipment including forklifts, ESD-safe storage racks, and barcode scanning systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce waste.
