About The Position

The warehouse supervisor is responsible for the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff. Oversees receiving, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. Optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space. Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials.

Requirements

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working on several tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Associates degree in business management
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing warehouse
  • 5 years of experience in supervision
  • Lift, pull/push, and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage minute to minute operations. Monitor individual and group productivity and quality.
  • Respond and react to customer requirements.
  • Manage, direct and coordinate all activities related to a performance-based operation to maximize productivity while maintaining quality according to all site specific standards
  • Compiles with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements.
  • Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly daily.
  • Monitor attendance, safety, productivity, and quality of Performance Associates.
  • Accountable for meeting customers deadlines and shipping metrics.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations
  • Maintain and manage inventory cycle counts reporting
  • Manage warehouse operation requirements including all shipping and receiving associates, material handlers and production associates by scheduling and assigning employees, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions and meet monthly metrics.
