About The Position

The UF College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented Warehouse/Store Assistant to join our team. The Warehouse/Store Assistant ensures the availability and proper handling of supplies essential to the clinical, research, academic, and administrative needs of the CVM. This includes receiving and distributing incoming shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting with special orders, monitoring expiration dates, and organizing mail and packages in accordance with university and federal regulations. The successful candidate will be customer service–focused, detail-oriented, and capable of taking initiative to resolve complex logistical issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Access) is essential. This position is key to ensuring operational continuity and excellence within the CVM. This position requires a post-offer health assessment and background check.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience. Appropriate course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, bend, kneel, pull, push, twist and stand for an extended period of time.
