About The Position

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Tech to join our Warehouse team at our North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM). NARM is the world's largest surface coal mine and is located in Wright, Wyoming. The mine produces high quality thermal coal that is loaded onto haul trucks and then shipped by rail. It has approximately 465 million tons of coal reserves.

Job Summary

This job is responsible for the movement and storage of warehouse stock.

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED Equivalent required
• Must have the ability to sit for up to 8 hours
• Must be able to use a computer and communicate effectively in various forms, including email and by phone
• Must have the ability to review paper and electronic documents and complete computer entry of data from paper documents
• Must be able to find, remove and return files to/from file cabinets and discuss issues by telephone and in person
• Must be able to operate copier, fax machine, etc.

Responsibilities

• Visibly support and champion Peabody's Mission and Values
• Act in accordance with and adhere to Safety as a Way of Life Management System
• Inspect work area, equipment and stores for hazards, damage and defects
• Receipt and issue of stock
• Reconcile consignment notes and orders
• Load and unload stock and bin items.
• Identify and investigate anomalies between physical and recorded stock levels
• Store yard holdings
• Maintain accurate records of issues, receipts, stock-takes, etc.
• Training other personnel
• Ensure activities comply with safety, environmental and statutory requirements
• Other duties as assigned by the company
