About The Position

Direct Hire RPM Staffing is looking for an accountant for a Warehouse in Bonham, TX! Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm Pay: $60,000-75,000 DOE Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years experience in accounting is preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
• Possess a positive attitude
• Ability to motivate & set a good example
• Maintain company values accordingly

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Preparing of month-end and year-end financial reports
• Record and reconcile financial transactions in the general ledger
• Input journal entries
• Process property tax and sales tax
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues
• Prepare financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation
