Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • 1+ years of experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be dependable and reliable.
  • General knowledge of warehouse procedures.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver objects up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 75 pounds with proper lifting techniques.
  • Able to handle company owned equipment (including fork trucks, JCB loader, cotton seed stackers) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Currently have or capable of obtaining a CDL, must have experience driving a semi-truck with manual transmission.

Responsibilities

  • Load and assist in loading/unloading trailer (raw materials/finished goods) utilizing fork truck.
  • Perform limited maintenance duties.
  • Handle company owned equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Set up equipment.
  • Remove empty skids from trailers and carry to designated storage area.
  • Return and prepare equipment for next day, at each day’s end.
  • Assist in warehouse maintenance.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.
