About The Position

GVI Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our Team in San Diego, CA. Position Responsibilities: a. Maintain a correct inventory of material within the Warehouse Management System. b. Receiving, identifying material and record keeping functions associated with the receipt of materials. c. Shipping, packaging and record keeping functions associated with the shipment of materials both commercially and in accordance with US Navy supply system utilizing DD Form 1149. d. Generate and ensure accuracy of shipping and receiving documentation Position Requirements: a. Minimum of HS diploma and 1-3 years' experience in logistics, warehousing, or shipboard installation b. Forklift operator. c. Knowledge HAZMAT shipping/receiving. b. Knowledge of U.S. Navy material handling policies, procedures, and documentation preferred c. Understanding of US Navy supply system and practices, d. Proficient with computers, printers, laptops, and common Windows applications. e. Must possess organizational skills and maintain disciplined inventory and material control processes f. Ability to carry 50lbs g. Must possess, and maintain, a valid driver's license h.
