About The Position

The Warehouse Solutions Lead partners with field Warehouse Teams across Heartland to develop, deploy, maintain, and improve the systems, processes, and financial performance for warehouse operations. This position provides support and builds capability with field teams. In addition, this position troubleshoots system issues, leads, executes, and documents major improvement initiatives within functional area.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of work experience required, or a minimum of five years of progressive job experience including people, project, or account management with leadership and influencing skills required.
• Experience in area of supply chain operations required.

Nice To Haves

• Project Management / Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
• Warehouse Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers results for functional area including process improvements, productivity and quality initiatives that drive OPEX savings through the application of Operational Excellence, Six Sigma, Lean, and change management principles regarding Warehouse operations.
• Serves as Subject Matter Expert for all Warehouse systems, including mitigation, and resolution of issues.
• Responsible for supporting field teams with training, documentation, master data integrity, actionable information, tools and ensure knowledge transfer is complete.
• Supports projects and initiatives in functional area to measurably improve results. Effectively communicates timelines, priorities, and updates on deliverables.
• Frequently engage with field teams where the work is conducted to identify, document, and share best practices. Engage in change management and capability building with warehouse operations teams.
• Conducts deep analysis to improve understanding of functional area and transfers that knowledge to field teams to improve execution.
• Support and guide facility modification work in relation to layouts and racking.
