Requirements

• High School Diploma
• One or more years of related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

• Provide general warehouse and equipment processing services to corporate pool warehouse operations
• Fill district orders for equipment and accessories, prioritizing orders to meet customer “need by” dates
• Pack and ship equipment to meet customer requests while minimizing costs and damage
• Select carriers and service levels to meet district requirements and control shipping costs
• Pack and ship equipment in compliance with carrier requirements and district facilities (including crates, pallets, and boxes)
• Complete required shipping documents and computer entries
• Contact carriers to arrange pick-up and delivery; trace lost or delayed shipments
• Support districts with inbound shipping by providing packing advice and selecting and scheduling carriers
• Check incoming shipments against packing slips; note damaged or missing goods and complete receiving entries
• Label and shelve supplies; route equipment to appropriate areas
• Maintain the general appearance of the warehouse, shelving, and shipping areas
• Maintain adequate supplies of packing and shipping materials
• Operate and maintain a forklift
• Perform clerical functions as needed to support warehouse operations
• Receive and dispense supply inventory and maintain inventory control systems
• Enter transfer activity and support periodic physical inventory counts
• Maintain logs, bills of lading, manifests, and other required shipping documents
• Support processing of equipment tagged for disposal
• Provide 24-hour call support as directed by the Operations Manager – District
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
