Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Varsity Spirit, A Varsity Achievement Brand, is looking to hire Seasonal Warehouse Workers. As a member of the Herff Jones Kansas City Yearbook team, you will be responsible for preparing boxes of books for shipment. With the Yearbook Bindery Production Team, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment printing high school and college yearbooks to help our customers celebrate some of their greatest achievements. While you’ll lean heavily on your technical abilities, your greatest asset will be your drive and commitment to quality and safety. Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Experience working in a high-volume shipping dock.
Able to cooperate and work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
HS Diploma or GED (required)
1 - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
Ability to read and interpret documents such as tracking sheets, order confirmation sheets and work orders
Proven ability to excel in a high production manufacturing environment which focuses on safety, quality control, and organization
Previous success maintaining a strong attendance and on time record
Must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
Regularly required to stand for long periods of time with repetitive body movements, ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, walk 8 hours.
Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
