Job Description Picking (No equipment) 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 5am start $16.50/hour Reach Truck, Cherrypicker, Dockstocker, Electric Pallet Jack Operators Needed 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 5am start $17.50-$18/hour Mon-Thur 8am-6:30 pm $17.50 Fri-Sun 6am-6:30 PM $19.50-20 Work somewhere awesome that offers full time positions with benefits! Pulls merchandise from storage locations. Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise for shipment. Operates powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, standup lifts and turret trucks), and handles non-conveyable items (i.e., bulky items).
Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent (GED).
- Basic math proficiency.
- Ability to repetitively lift and/or move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to pass required certification in order to operate powered material handling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Repetitively places and pulls merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds to and from storage locations, using a hand-held radio frequency device and/or voice recognition system to scan and/or record selected merchandise from storage locations or within a computer operated pick-module or carousel
- Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds for shipment, either in boxes or on pallets using powered or manual pallet jacks, or other powered material handling equipment (e.g., standup lifts and turret trucks).
- Performs inventory activities, including counting material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and comparing inventories to office records or computer figures.
- Unloads incoming shipments and loads outgoing trucks with merchandise using powered industrial material handling equipment (e.g., standup lifts and turret trucks).
- Arranges merchandise to be staged or stocked in storage locations to maintain inventory levels.
- Packages merchandise for shipment, either in boxes or on pallets; ensures correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed.
- Moves non-conveyable items (i.e., bulky items) to and from storage locations.
